' Ranbir Kapoor ' as Bunnya as travel show host and an ardent traveller and ' Deepika Padukone ' as Billi as the role of a sweet girl-next-door. Kalki  Koechlin as a happy-go-lucky person.

First Ranbir Kapoor signed the movie yeh jawani hai deewani and his working for second time with Ayan Mukerji after wake up sid. The movie yeh jawani hai deewani shooting began in Hadimba Temple, Manali on March 20.  After shooting in Mumbai, ranbir Kapoor went to Paris and France to shooting a 5 minute long seen in 10 days. The music is composed by Pritam.
